This ministry makes recommendations and takes actions to provide quality worship in the Parish. The membership, which includes the Pastor, pastoral minister, as well as other parishioners, fosters the growth of a living and authentic liturgical tradition in the Parish.

Floral Ministry
This group ensures that the church is decorated with flowers and plants throughout the year, and for major liturgical seasons and feasts.

Ministry of Lector
Lectors proclaim the Word of the Lord at weekend liturgies. They are on a rotating schedule for Masses and may be requested to read at special liturgies throughout the year. New lectors must attend a training session.

Eucharistic Minister
Eucharistic Ministers are called to serve the Parish community by offering the Body or Blood of the Lord to each person during the communion rite at Sunday liturgies. When needed, they also bring Communion to individuals in their pew. New ministers must attend a training session.

Ministry of Music
The St. Brigid Ministry of Music offers the opportunity for parishioners to enhance the liturgical celebration through the use of their musical, vocal, and instrumental talents. Musicians, choir members, and cantors assist the whole congregation in participating in the sung parts of the Mass, such as hymns, acclamations, and psalms.
Sunday Choir – Open to all adult and young adult parishioners, this choir sings at the 11:00 am Mass on Sunday and for special liturgical celebrations. They perform a range of music that emphasizes sacred choral literature.

937-376-1702 / HomeContemporary Choir – This instrumental and vocal ensemble performs mostly contemporary and some traditional repertoire. Membership is open to all adult and young adult parishioners. The Contemporary Choir sings at the 8:30 am Mass on Sunday.

Ministry of Sacristan
The Sacristans prepare vestments and vessels for specific seasons and liturgies. They also ensure that vestments, vessels, and other liturgical materials are maintained, cleaned, or replaced as necessary, and set up for each rite.

Ministry of Server
Servers assist the priest and members of the congregation during the liturgy. They lead the entrance procession and hold the book for the priest when he lifts his hands to pray in our name. They help prepare the altar before the Eucharistic prayer, and do various tasks on special occasions such as carrying incense or holy water. Children are eligible to become altar servers in 5th grade. Adults serve at morning Masses during the week.

Ministry of Usher
Ushers greet members of the congregation as they arrive for Mass and help in finding seating for parishioners. They arrange for individuals or families to take up the offertory and collection, and assist with the Communion procession. Additionally, they are attentive to special needs during the Mass, such as ensuring Communion is brought to those unable to walk. Any man, woman or older youth who is willing to arrive early for weekend liturgies is invited to become a member of the Ministry of Usher.
