• Return to Main Teacher/Staff List
Mrs. Carol Cassidy is one of the kindergarten teacher at St. Brigid School. She is in her 41st year of teaching primary-age students. Of those 41 years, 38 have been at St. Brigid with 26 of those years in the kindergarten classroom. Until this year, she was the only kindergarten teacher that St. Brigid has ever had. Mrs. Cassidy has received Excellence in Teaching Awards from the Miami Valley Association of Catholic Schools and from the University of Notre Dame Alumni Association in 2006.
Mrs. Cassidy has attended numerous professional development classes and/or workshops. She has been a presenter at the State and National Catholic Education Association conferences.
She believes that ALL children are unique individuals with the capacity to learn. Each student learns at his or her own rate, dependent upon individual development levels. She firmly believes that ALL students want to be successful in and out of the school setting.
Mrs. Cassidy advises parents to be involved with their child’s education. She stresses that parental involvement is essential for student success. She welcomes parents into her classroom as volunteers or as casual observers. Feel free to contact her at any time to schedule a conference for your child.
